  • Vanilla extract- A little vanilla extract goes a long way in elevating the flavor of our cookie dough.
  • pinch of salt
  • Vanilla protein powder

Could you use fat free cottage cheese? Or would that mess up the consistency?

    Reply

    • Chahinez

It would definitely have a different, less creamy texture. But you certainly could use fat-free. It’s just a personal preference between fewer calories or more flavor.

So, the serving size is ONE OUNCE?

    Reply

    • Chahinez

It’s a little more than that. If you add up all the ingredients you will be at about 19 ounces. Divide that by 8 servings you will sit at about 2.39 ounces. But at the end of the day you decide the serving size that fits your needs.

Mine came out grainy. Any suggestions?

    Reply

    • Chahinez

It’s possible that the graininess was due to the cottage cheese not being blended well enough or the almond flour not being finely ground. For a smoother texture, try blending the cottage cheese until it’s smooth before adding it to the dough. Additionally, using a finer almond flour or processing it in a food processor for a finer texture could help.
