Mix n Chop by Pampered Chef

Five Useful Kitchen Tools That You Need Now - What a Good Day (2)

The Pampered Chef Mix n Chop is a game changer for separating ground meats like beef, turkey or sausage for browning. I am kind of particular when I am browning ground meats. I don’t like big chunks left in the mix. This does the trick for separating the meat and helping it to brown evenly and quickly. I was amazed by how well it worked when I first tried it. I also use this tool when separating canned chicken to get it completely shredded for dips, chicken salad, or casseroles. And it works for shredding cooked chicken. Mashing up strawberries or other fruit is a breeze as well. Click here to take a look at the Mix N Chop.

I originally bought a set of these little prep/pinch bowls to use for recipe photos that I was making for this blog and they have worked wonderfully for that purpose. Since then I have found that I use them often for so many things. They are perfect for serving small portions or snacks. My favorite use is for dips or sauces. I do not like my dips or sauces mixing in with other foods when served. These bowls are the perfect size and keep the sauce or dip from being messy on the plate. They’re also very nice looking. Pampered Chef Cool & Serve Bowl

Five Useful Kitchen Tools That You Need Now - What a Good Day (4)

I love this Cool and Serve Bowl by Pampered Chef. It is perfect for any occasion where you need to keep food cool for a length of time. Of course, it is not too pretty to look at but it works when temperature is important. I have used it to take to gatherings when I took a cool vegetable or fruit salad. It is perfect for picnics, family reunions, potlucks, or just to use at home. There is an insert under the clear bowl that you can keep in the freezer to have ready at a moments notice. Just put that in the bottom, put the bowl on top and add your cool food. You are ready to go! Click here to see the Cool and Serve Bowl.

Cook With Color Mixing Bowl Set

Five Useful Kitchen Tools That You Need Now - What a Good Day (5)

This Cook with Color Mixing Bowl Set is, without a doubt, the best mixing bowl set I have ever used. They are pretty deep to keep ingredients inside when mixing together and the spout and handle make pouring so clean and easy. Another plus is that they come in many color sets so that you can get a set to match your kitchen decor. They are very sturdy but not too heavy or hard to handle. I use mine all the time. These also make a great gift for wedding showers for couples just starting out. Click here to see the Cook with Color Mixing Bowl Set.

Cotton Trivets for Hot Dishes

Five Useful Kitchen Tools That You Need Now - What a Good Day (6)

These pretty woven cotton trivets for hot dishes are a great addition to your kitchen to protect your countertops or table from hot pans, pots, or baking dishes. I have quartz countertops and these are perfect to prevent damage. They are very pretty, thick, and quality made. You can get them in different colors to match your kitchen. They also look really nice to use under a vase of flowers or a bowl of fruit sitting on the kitchen island. You will find that you reach for these again and again!
