Each new development impacts these fields, and I’m excited to keep you posted on these advancements.Social Media Network X Updates Policy on AI-Generated ContentRecently, social media network X has updated its rules to permit users to share consensually produced AI-generated NSFW content, provided it is clearly labeled. This aligns with previous experiments under Elon Musk’s leadership, which involved hosting adult content within specific communities.X’s updated 'adult content' policy states, "We believe that users should be able to create, distribute, and consume material related to sexual themes as long as it is consensually produced and distributed. Sexual expression, visual or written, can be a legitimate form of artistic expression."The policy further elaborates: "We believe in the autonomy of adults to engage with and create content that reflects their own beliefs, desires, and experiences, including those related to sexuality. We balance this freedom by restricting exposure to adult content for children or adult users who choose not to see it."Users can mark their posts as containing sensitive media, ensuring that such content is restricted from users under 18 or those who haven’t provided their birth dates.While X’s violent content rules have similar guidelines, the platform maintains a strict stance against excessively gory content and depictions of sexual violence. Explicit threats or content inciting or glorifying violence remain prohibited.This decision to allow graphic content aims to enable users to participate in discussions about current events, including sharing relevant images and videos.Implications and ConsiderationsI believe this policy change will significantly affect the content we’ll be seeing in the coming days. An update for you guys!I've been working hard to be more consistent and regular in my updates. I'm thrilled to share that many undergrads have reached out to hear my story and share theirs. It's been a major motivator for me to post regularly about job openings and career tips.For those in up-and-coming batches, I know the market is tough, but if you push yourself and upskill according to the market needs, there are plenty of opportunities out there. Be persistent, dig deep, and network extensively. That’s the truth of it!Personal Update:I’ve recently moved to Bengaluru, the land of opportunities and big dreams for IT professionals!I came here for the first time on May 3rd for a job interview. It was an in-person interview, and I thought, “f*ck IT! Let’s do it!” A month later, here I am.I’m now in an SDET role, and my training involves learning Java, automation, and related tech stacks. I'm incredibly thankful to Opteamix for this opportunity.Adjusting to Bengaluru:Moving out of my home at 24 and leaping over 2000 km was overwhelming. For the first week, every night was a struggle. But I needed this experience. Living at home felt like being in a bubble, and that bubble burst the second I landed here.Finding a good PG, meeting new people—everything was a challenge, even for an extrovert like me. But I found some good people who made life easier, and for that, I’m grateful.OH and YES those looking to shift to Bengaluru- your-space and Puzzles Living- a local startup they have the best rooms & services. They are a bit costly but I believe it provides a way to network. The food is good here! For Indians from the north, believe me, you won't find better PGs than this. I roam around different localities looking for PGs just like everyone who comes here, those thinking of coming here let me say this It is one hell of a ride.There’s no major lesson here, just my story. If you can find inspiration to get through your own tough nights, then that’s a job well done.Growth and Mindset:Looking for a job with a meaningful role taught me a lot. There's been a significant mindset shift in me. The package size or stepping out of your comfort zone doesn’t matter as much as the growth opportunities. It’s the best way to discover what you’re capable of and find your limits. I haven’t found mine yet, but I’m hoping this new experience will bring me closer.Some have called me naive when it comes to professional thinking, but there's a first time for everything. I'm learning, and Bengaluru is the perfect place for professional growth—it's a friendly and lively place!Keep pushing forward and embracing new challenges, everyone! Your growth and success are just around the corner.
