The Master of Computer Science (MCS) is a professional degree program that allows you to continue your education and accelerate your career by learning from world-class faculty who are advancing the frontiers of computer science. MCS students complete 32 hours of graduate coursework covering the same cutting-edge content that's offered to students enrolled in our research-focused M.S. and Ph.D. degree programs. Attend classes in downtown Chicago to pursue an MCS degree full-time in as little as three semesters, or take up to five years as a part-time student.
